Hello

I am an Army veteran who, after being medically retired, decided to pursue a degree in both fashion design and fashion business. I am a firm advocate of dressing how you want, just keep it modest.

My Story

A 90s baby through and through, David grew up in a small town in the Black Hills of South Dakota. When not exploring the forest behind his home, he spent his days running around The Wishing Well, a costume shop owned and operated by his grandmother, Kathleen.

In his 20s, he went to Western Dakota Technical Institute and earned an AAS in Welding and Fabrication. For the next five years, he worked various welding jobs until finally joining the Army as a mechanic in 2020. During his time in the Army, he rediscovered his love of sewing and costumes from repairing his own uniforms. In 2023, David was medically retired from the armed forces due to a neurological condition. Almost immediately, he applied for Kansas State University's Fashion Studies Program, where he is studying for a bachelor's degree in both Fashion Design and Fashion Business.
